Seen at Scarborough - chav culture

During the recent Edinburgh Festival, I attended a masterclass on comedy song writing run by Dillie Keane and Adele Anderson of Fascinating Aida. This photo – taken earlier this summer at Scarborough – prompted me to write these words. Sing it to the tune of Jive Talkin' by the Bee Gees.

I flew down from Edinburgh yesterday – I'd been visiting the Fringe festival – on the flight-path to Norwich than runs down the east coast and goes over my old hometown of Scarborough. I had a window seat and my observations resulted in this haiku and tanka...
